Munduk Discovery
Three nights: the waterfall trek, the Buddhist monastery and hot springs, and a cooking class in the jungle.
This is how the days usually run — tell the team what appeals, and every part of it is arranged for you.
Day 1 — Arrival and mountain views
Afternoon arrival and check-in. Munduk is about two to three hours by car from the airport. Settle into the cabin and take in the jungle valley, the mountains and the Bali Sea beyond them.
On-site. Unwind by the infinity pool, use the hot tub, or simply soak in the fresh mountain air.
Evening at the fire pit. Enjoy dinner at the highly rated on-site restaurant, Ulekan. Afterwards, gather around the communal fire pit to relax under the starry sky.
Day 2 — Waterfalls and the long way round
The Munduk four waterfalls trek. A four to five hour walk linking four cascades through rainforest and spice plantations. It covers between 3 and 5 kilometres over mixed ground — steep concrete stairs, jungle path and bamboo bridges.

Lunch with a view. The Botanist is a restaurant rooted in sustainable practices and reflects the values of Munduk Cabins.
Afternoon. The hot tub, with a happy hour cocktail between five and seven; an in-cabin massage with a Munduk therapist; and afternoon tea, which is complimentary and served daily from three until five.
Evening. Dinner at Ulekan, then the fire pit.
Day 3 — Monastery, hot springs and a cooking class
Morning: monastery and hot springs. North towards the coast to Brahmavihara Arama, the largest Buddhist monastery in Bali, and then into the warm sulphurous water of the Banjar hot springs.
Lunch: a jungle cooking class. Join local hosts Made and Ketut on a highly personalised culinary immersion held in the jungle. Unlike larger commercial classes, this experience focuses on authentic “mountain-style” Balinese cuisine. It can be held in your cabin instead if you are staying in one of the Premium Suite Cabins.
Evening. Dinner at Ulekan, then the fire pit.
Day 4 — Departure
A slow morning. Breakfast at the cabins and a last look at the view.
Departure. Check out. Depending on where you are heading next, the road out passes coffee and clove plantations, which is what this area grows.

None of this needs organising in advance. Tell the team what appeals when you arrive — or before, if you would rather have it settled — and the trek, the driver and the massage are arranged for you.
The concierge is on call around the clock, and airport pick-up can be arranged with the booking.
